Default No Hope for Paragons?

I remember there was talk about a Paragon rework a couple of years ago...

Any hope for this?
Or has Anet completely stopped working on GW1 content/updates?

yes, there are no more updates outside of major crash remediation. Holidays are all automated so not much for them to do.

Thanks for the reply.

I wonder what changes they had planned for the Paragon... T_T

Too bad we will never know. I imagine a lot of unfinished work got trashed with their decision.

The new content - yes, maintenance / improving PvP playability updates - no.

Honestly with how bad GW2 ended up and how full of the incompetent social justice crazies ArenaNet apparently is now, I'd be kind of worried if they did start doing stuff to GW1, who knows, they might make the game worse.

that.... unless they touch pve paragons, there isnt much bad you can do about paragons atm, unless they destroy imbagon, which many seem to like

i make own builds, mostly offensive
you can even give them an axe (sword is weaker), but since people only do pvx (both copy from the site and copy from ingame), anet might think its a good idea to touch those

anet, if you'd ever touch GW again, dont make it worse for pve skills, many people already only play the game, instead of buying more accounts and ingame stuff from the store
well, they do buy stuff, but mostly play GW (alot of people do it with bots or just mindless repeat stuff like AB, elite areas and farms and such), so nerfing pve skills (or NOT making pve/pvp splits) will have a negative effect on your wallets, whether its farming builds or other pvx/other most used skills

so yes, i agree that its better to see them do nothing, than try and "balance" skills the way they think now (the ele updates made people use overcast skills more, even though i havent seen anyone asking for that)

tbh, to me it looks like they just play around with skills, to force us to change builds more than we want, not thinking about those who really make own builds, who want to use skills not so conditional
they just tried to let us use overcast skills and skills like "breath of fire" cause overcast now, just to let us change builds

now making people change builds doesnt need to be bad, but in this case they nerf skills to be used with a few others ONLY (using breath of fire was rare for people already, now people use it even less cuz of overcast, making it only good for skills that have an effect when overcast, for example)

so if they never touch pve (at least) again, be happy

this is based on my opinion and on what i see happen ingame, so i cannot be wrong, you can only disagree
i'd love to see some changes in pve, but not with skills... unless its paragons skills, like chants having only 1 casting time (maybe even most or all of em affecting all allies, instead of just party members), spear skills being more useful (stunning strike less adrenaline cost... 10 is insane, while it also needs a condition) and other changes they have to make pve-pvp splits for

IMPORTANT NOTE: my opinions and ideas are ONLY for "pve", so nothing pvp related in this post
